Some of you maybe know
http://www.depechemodebiographie.deThe project has started in the end of 2005, and has grown ever since by feedback and reactions of its readers. First, it was just a file. I told some people about, and they wanted to read it. When it became too many people who wanted to read it I put it on a website.
This biography is strongly based on a fans' view, and is influenced by the suggestions, opinions and questions of fans and readers.
People have also kept asking for a print edition because they wanted to read it as a real book on their sofa, or in their garden, saying, "It's too much text to read it on a screen."
I never wanted to make a book from it, but it's really a fans' project.
So now everyone can decide if, how and where to read it - on the website, as an e-book on a kindle-reader or ipad, or as a real book on the sofa.

If you haven't known the project before: It is mainly based on statements from the (former) band members, in a variety of interviews with different magazines and other media, from 1981 to 2013.
I wasn't able to interview the band members myself, but there are own interviews with Alan Wilder (who is prominentely mentioned in this biography), Gareth Jones and Steve Lyon.
