So, the Corona decided to deliver one more blow, just as the world was opening up again. Many of you will know that we were severely hit by covid-illness a few months back, so severe in fact that we had to push several gigs back home in Norway from December and far into 2022. We have been looking so much forward to getting back on stage again and had the first gigs lined up at the end of May. As it turns out, this is still too soon. After careful review and advice from health professionals, Zeromancer and Seigmen are forced to cancel all live-activities this year. We are all gutted and really hoped we would be out of the woods sooner. In the end, it's still an easy decision. Health must come first and the band must fire on all cylinders before hitting the road. We don´t know when we will be back, but promise to inform you as soon as we have news. Until then, take care and be strong! Regarding the Markthalle-show, you will get more info very soon. This show looks like it’s not gonna be moved once again. More likely to get cancelled.
Last Summer, Kim Ljung (Seigmen, Zeromancer) finally did something he had wanted to do for years: To travel alone to his family’s old, tiny cabin in Nordstøldalen in Sauda. His only travelling companion: An old acoustic guitar. This 5-song EP is the result of that trip.
“I have long wanted to return to this small, red cabin. No electricity. Alone. Too small for more than one person anyway. Only me and the acoustic. The beautiful green pond right by. The hiss from the ice-cold river running down from the mountain. Here I played to a herd of sheep for breakfast. For the twilight and the widest starry sky I have ever seen, at night.”
Since his childhood trips to Sauda were always filled with music from the car cassette player, this EP will only be released on cassette & digitally.
